We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team at our St. Albans, VT location. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, and achieving financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Oversee the entire operation of the pharmacy department, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Participate in business development activities in the store and community.
  • Manage pharmacy support personnel functions within the department, including job performance and review.
  • Provide guidance and training to pharmacy associates and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Ensure completion of all company-required training by pharmacy associates.
  • Participate in patient-centered services, including immunization, MTM, and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and medical providers regarding medication use, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
  • Monitor patient health and progress to ensure compliance and optimize therapies.
  • Maintain and participate in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
  • Use professional judgment to provide exemplary service within the pharmacist's scope of practice.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, organized workstation according to company standards.
  • Complete continuing education programs as required by state law.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • VT License
  • Immunization Certification (Required)
  • Must be comfortable giving all vaccines (Required)
  • Recent Pharmacy Manager experience (preferred)
