Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct staff in the execution of the BDP, ensuring timely completion of projects and high-quality results.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test and evaluation plans, ensuring that projects meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executives, supervisors, managers, employees, and other stakeholders, communicating effectively and providing technical advice and assistance as needed.
  • Identify development and training needs of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) programs.
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
  • Experience using project management methodologies, practices, tools, and techniques to guide strategic projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience directing the development of comprehensive test and evaluation plans.
  • Experience developing relationships and communicating with executives, supervisors, managers, employees, and other stakeholders.
Working Conditions

The facility typically shuts down annually between Christmas and New Year's Day. As such, all BEP employees must take leave for workdays during the shutdown period.

A one-year probationary period may be required. A one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.

Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.

Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.

This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into Continuous Vetting.

Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury.

The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time.
