Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Commercial, to achieve business objectives.
  • Initiate, manage, and implement Quality Change Requests (QCRs) to introduce process changes.
  • Serve as a site project lead for new product launches and new product setups.
  • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, and work with functional managers to assign personnel.
  • Determine project schedules by studying project plans and objectives, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Maintain project schedules by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Control project costs by monitoring and adhering to project budgets.
  • Review and update relevant procedures, specifications, and work instructions within the scope of the project work.
  • Write and coordinate execution of test strategies, engineering studies, equipment/process qualifications, and process validations.
  • Ensure project compliance to company policies and quality directives, including change control, validation, and NC/CAPA.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree in Engineering or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management or Engineering role, demonstrating a progression of skills.
  • Medical device manufacturing or other FDA-regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving proficiency and proven ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Specialized training in Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Presentation Skills, Team Building, LEAN / Six Sigma, and Validation.
