We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at One Brooklyn Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to work in a fast-paced environment, providing top-notch care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgery. They will prepare operating rooms, review patient medical histories, and assemble equipment for administering gas. Additionally, they will take patients' blood pressure, respiration, and pulse, and monitor their condition throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms with necessary anesthetics and review patient medical histories
  • Administer prescribed solutions for intravenous injections and prepare patients for surgery
  • Assemble equipment for administering gas and test it to ensure proper functioning
  • Take patients' blood pressure, respiration, and pulse, and monitor their condition throughout the procedure
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational background, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). You should possess good interpersonal skills and be able to maintain accurate records of each anesthetic administered. Additionally, you must be physically fit and able to stand for prolonged periods.

Compensation and Benefits
