Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with licensed SLPs to conduct screenings and assessments to evaluate students\u2019 communication abilities.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
* Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of licensed SLPs, in accordance with state regulations and district policies.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students\u2019 communication skills in the classroom and educational settings.
* Assist in the collection and analysis of data to monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student data.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor\u2019s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
* Completion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program approved by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
* Valid California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
* Previous experience working as an SLPA in a school or educational setting preferred.
* Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
