The Environmental Services Technician II is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various areas of the facility, ensuring a pristine environment for all guests and staff.

All team members are expected to demonstrate a commitment to exceptional guest service by adhering to the established quality standards.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Operate the waste management vehicle, ensuring the timely collection of waste from designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of public ashtrays and promptly address any spills.
- Sanitize restrooms in multiple locations throughout the facility.
- Utilize hydraulic equipment for the efficient exchange of waste containers as necessary.
- Clear waste from various entrances and service areas.
- Employ power equipment to maintain cleanliness in stairwells and other high-traffic areas.
- Ensure elevators are kept clean and presentable.
- Replace full waste containers in various locations as required.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned related to the role of Environmental Services Technician.
RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not involve supervisory duties.
The incumbent is accountable for safeguarding the assets of the organization and fostering a positive work atmosphere.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/
TRAINING:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred for effective job performance.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
This role necessitates fluency in English, both spoken and written, along with the ability to communicate via radio devices effectively.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic mathematical skills are required, including the ability to work with measurements and currency.
REASONING ABILITY:
The ability to comprehend and execute straightforward instructions and manage standardized tasks with minimal variability is essential.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
This position requires the delivery of outstanding service in high-traffic areas while fulfilling assigned tasks.
Professionalism and courtesy are essential, with a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
- Must qualify for and maintain a gaming license.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to undergo a driving record check.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and basic math; fluent in English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to interpret product labels.
- Capable of interacting effectively with diverse groups.
- Physical ability to lift weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs, along with bending and reaching.
