Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts during the day
Employment Type: Travel
About the Role:
As a key member of the Interventional Radiology team, your primary responsibility will be to support patient care within the Interventional Radiology Department. This includes providing technical assistance to the IR team and performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to capture images of specified body parts as per physician orders.
2. Assist physicians during various diagnostic and interventional procedures by monitoring patient responses, passing instruments and catheters, and maintaining a sterile field.
3. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines.
4. Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care while maintaining a patient-focused environment.
Qualifications:
- Current License in good standing
- Relevant specialty certifications/credentials
- A minimum of 18 months of experience in Special Procedures/Interventional settings, preferably in critical care.
