We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional and direct nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with other members of the healthcare delivery team, including physicians, to assure quality healthcare.
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians, via oral, IM, SQ, or IV route.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and family members to ensure patient comfort, safety, respect, and confidentiality.
- Participate in timely and efficient discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of patients to the appropriate level of care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - ACLS and NRP certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
