About the Role

Aqua, a subsidiary of Essential Utilities, Inc., is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Texas. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will play a critical role in laying the foundations for our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement long-term capital plans for assigned divisions and systems, ensuring timely delivery of projects through creative problem-solving and effective use of capital.
  • Model and review waterline and sewer projects, designing assigned aspects of projects as needed, including tanks, boosters, lift stations, WTP projects, WWTP projects, and regulating vaults.
  • Use company applications such as Powerplant and SAP to create and manage capital projects, updating, maintaining, and researching information in various company databases.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of design experience, preferably in the water/wastewater utility industry.
  • Registered EIT in the State of Texas or ability to obtain EIT license within one year from hire date.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Ability to represent the Company in an accurate, positive, and professional manner to the general public, developers, and Municipal Officers.
