As a Senior Financial Analyst in Sales Finance, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and support to our Sales Channel. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to establish financial objectives, manage customer investment allocations, and promote sustainable value creation for the organization. Your eagerness to learn and excel in finance will help us build a stronger future for both our company and your career.
This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring proximity to our offices. The role may involve extended hours and shifting priorities, necessitating the ability to manage stress and make informed decisions. Occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing Trade and Customer Investment to ensure optimal allocation for maximum ROI.
- Collaborating with Sales leadership and planning teams to provide financial guidance and support investment proposals.
- Acting as the primary contact for the ITC/deductions team.
- Leading the month-end and quarter-end closing processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Assisting in the monthly forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Managing overhead expenditures for the sales division.
- Preparing monthly financial reports and presentations.
- Analyzing historical performance and competitor data to recommend strategies for sustainable value creation.
- Handling ad hoc financial requests.
- Driving results by proactively suggesting updates to processes to meet leadership needs.
- Fostering continuous improvement by identifying areas for standardization and enhancement.
Qualifications for Success
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods sector is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline is required.
- A strong desire for learning and a solid understanding of business principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with financial modeling.
- Experience with trade and investment analysis.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
