Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Administer medications as prescribed and closely monitor for efficacy and potential side effects
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their loved ones using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental health and wellness topics
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited institution
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • At least 1 year of experience working in behavioral health settings, preferably inpatient or outpatient environments
  • Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and administration protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the ANA

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $61,300 to $100,980 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
