Job Overview

Touchstone Communities is seeking a highly skilled Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement (MDS) to oversee reimbursement operations for skilled nursing facilities across the East Region.

Responsibilities

This role requires extensive travel up to 80% of the time, visiting 2-3 communities per week. As a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement (MDS), you will play a vital role in supporting our East Region, ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading reimbursement operations for skilled nursing facilities across the East Region
  • Ensuring compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Providing expert guidance on case management and MDS nursing best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current and valid Texas RN nursing license
  • Expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, and Case Management reimbursement systems
  • Experience as an MDS Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility, with previous Regional/Director level experience preferred
  • RAC-CT or CMAC certification (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to the RAI process and reimbursement systems
  • Ability to travel 80-100% weekly or as directed by the VP of Clinical Reimbursement

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
