Parking Lot Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Part Time Parking Lot Operations Supervisor position at Angels Baseball is responsible for overseeing the overall conduct of the parking lot operations to ensure that all functions are carried out in a correct, safe and timely manner as directed by the Ballpark Operations management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiates, plans, and schedules the work, activities and resources of crews or employees.
• Instructs and trains employees in the performance of their duties and in the proper use of equipment.
• Coordinates work between flaggers and cashiers to ensure arrival and departure efficiencies.
• Evaluates the work, activities and work resources of crews or employees in the assigned division/area.
• Manages and reconciles the cash vault which includes issuing cash banks, performing cash audits and balancing Cashier Daily Report, preparing deposits and identifying and investigating any discrepancies.

Requirements:

• 1-year of direct Customer Service Experience
• High school degree or equivalent
• Prior experience handling cash transactions and balancing a cash fund is preferred
• Ability to communicate with and listen to diverse populations
• Must be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude while handling difficult situations
• Ability to operate a 10-key calculator and currency counters
• Basic Computer and Microsoft Office use and knowledge required
• Ability to use Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to learn scheduling system ABIMMA
• Ability to work cooperatively with all team members across all departments

Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to use hands and arms to direct guests
• Ability to work outdoors, in direct sunlight and occasionally in inclement weather
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces (parking lot)
• Ability to drive golf carts and/or scooters safely through parking lot
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
