At The Learning Experience, we're seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that meets the individual needs of our children.
- Support the implementation of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to the unique needs of our Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
- Prioritize a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of our children at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and milestones through regular updates.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, working collaboratively with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; ECE coursework preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience in childcare or a demonstrable passion for early childhood education is preferred.
- Meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods without significant discomfort.
- Ability to safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to reach, stretch, climb, or balance as necessary.
- Ability to maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job functions.
