Position Overview:
As part of our expansion, we are seeking several experienced Physician Assistants (PA) to join our practices. We are looking for full-time professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality clinical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage pediatric and adult patients with various ENT conditions.
- Perform ENT procedures, including fiberoptic scope examinations, drainage of abscesses, management of epistaxis, ear examinations, biopsies, tracheostomy care, and tube changes.
- Provide patient services under the direct supervision of attending physicians.
- Conduct thorough evaluations in a private practice setting, gather relevant medical histories, perform comprehensive ENT examinations, order necessary imaging, interpret test results, and collaborate with supervising physicians to develop care plans.
- Review and modify treatment and therapy plans as required.
- Administer medications and refills according to practice protocols or specific orders from supervising physicians, both orally and in writing.
- Order and collect specimens for routine laboratory tests.
- Initiate and coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers and community resources.
- Execute clinical procedures approved by supervising physicians within established practice guidelines.
- Complete all required medical record documentation proficiently using EMR systems.
- Build rapport with patients and adapt to new environments effectively.
- Respond to patient messages and calls, triaging as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and clinical policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising physician or practice administrator.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Current, unencumbered licensure as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania is required.
- Board certification from the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is mandatory at the time of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Prior experience as a Physician Assistant in ENT is preferred; training in the ENT specialty will be provided for candidates with relevant clinical experience.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Registration with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for controlled substances is required if prescribing.
- Pennsylvania Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) is necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.

Supervision:
Supervision will be provided by the attending physician in the clinic or department. The supervising physician retains ongoing responsibility for patient progress and ensures that the Physician Assistant operates under their supervision.
