Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining multi-axis CNC equipment at customer sites throughout North America. Your duties will include performing machine and software upgrades, training customers on the proper use and maintenance of the equipment, and handling 480VAC safely. You will also be responsible for interpreting mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of materials, completing required paperwork on time, and achieving/maintaining customer satisfaction ratings as established by the Service Manager. Additionally, you will provide technical telephone support and conduct final product testing in-house as needed, all while conforming to OSHA's safety guidelines and proper lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance of multi-axis CNC equipment
  • Perform machine and software upgrades
  • Handle 480VAC safely
  • Interpret mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of materials
  • Complete required paperwork on time (service reports, discrepancy reports, expense reports)
Requirements

Work Environment

This is a travel position. 8 week training

100% travel required. You will visit different customer sites weekly to work on machines.
