Transdev is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled IT Operations Manager to become a vital part of our team, ensuring the effective functioning of all information technology and communication systems within our Operations Control Center (OCC). In this essential position, you will oversee desktop support, maintain critical software systems, and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the OCC operates efficiently.

  • Oversee all IT-related functions and equipment associated with the OCC, including desktops, servers, networks, and communication devices.
  • Deliver prompt and effective desktop support to OCC personnel, swiftly resolving technical challenges.
  • Continuously monitor all IT equipment and systems, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Engage directly with WMATA IT personnel regarding network connectivity, system integrations, and technical concerns.
  • Collaborate with WMATA and other partners to address IT-related challenges.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred, or a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT support, application implementation, and training.
  • A solid understanding of desktop support principles and hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Demonstrated experience with Customer Management Systems (CMS) and similar enterprise applications.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
