Job Summary:

As a Clinical Support Associate at Dartmouth Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. This position requires a strong clinical background, as you will be responsible for taking vital signs, administering injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, and maintaining examination rooms. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Administer injections, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform simple diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and urine analysis.
  • Collect specimens, including blood and urine samples.
  • Maintain examination rooms, including sterilizing equipment and restocking supplies.
  • Assist with patient registration and check-in processes.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
  • American Association Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified - CMA designation OR American Medical Technologists (AMT) registered – RMA designation OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant plus 12 month D-H apprenticeship program – CCMA designation.
  • Current BLS certification required.
