Rural Health Specialist

The Rural Health Agent is a key member of the Extension staff at Clemson University, responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for adult and youth clientele in rural areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver educational programming within the Rural Health Program Area to adult and youth audiences.
- Communicate knowledge through direct and indirect methods, including written, audio, visual, and social content.
- Document programming impacts for targeted stakeholders.
- Partner and collaborate with local and state elected officials, Extension stakeholders, and other partners to plan educational phases of the county program.
- Support day-to-day functions of the county offices, as needed, by being present in the office, available to the staff and public, and willing to assist with general Extension inquiries.
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Health Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
