ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Our advanced perception system is designed for proactive threat response, integrating seamlessly with home sensor technologies to deter crime before it occurs. Your role will be vital in enabling this innovative approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As our inaugural Electrical Engineer, you will leverage your experience in product development, including specifying, wiring, and installing home hardware that complies with electrical standards. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a project in its early stages.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical engineering, with expertise in motor controls, PLC programming, hazard analysis, and safety compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 - 7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with DFMEA for electrical systems.
  • Proficient in conduit installation and hardware mounting per electrical codes.
  • Solid understanding of hazard and safety analysis for electrical systems.
  • Experience in defining electrical requirements for complex projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Expertise in motor controls.
  • Experience with advanced PLC programming and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in electrical engineering.
