Job Title: RN Oversight Specialist

At 12 Oaks Management, we are seeking a highly skilled RN Oversight Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with the Resident Care Director to ensure compliance with state policies and regulations, while prioritizing resident safety and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and review resident service plans to ensure compliance with doctor orders, state requirements, and community policies.
  • Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies and procedures, ensuring the confidentiality of resident information.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, adhering to regulations and standards.
  • Provide direction and monitoring of unlicensed care staff, ensuring high-quality care and services.
  • Coordinate Wellness Services procedures, including admitting new residents and providing staff training and orientation.
  • Assess prospective residents to determine care needs and appropriateness for residency.
  • Identify at-risk residents and develop risk management plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers regarding resident health issues and service plans.
  • Assist with alternative placement or supplemental care when necessary.
  • Oversee medication setup and delivery systems, ensuring safe and secure storage of medications and supplies.
  • Respond to resident emergency calls, reviewing and documenting emergency call responses.
Requirements:
  • RN license in the state of Nebraska.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and function effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of medication, dosage, terminology, side effects, and health factors.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional sitting.
  • At least three years of experience in an assisted living community preferred.
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
