Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Psychotherapist to join our team at Henry Ford Health. As a key member of our Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration program, you will provide virtual Collaborative Care to patients under 21 years old, working closely with psychiatric consultants and pediatricians to provide brief interventions for pediatric patients with mild to moderate behavioral health concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide individual family psychotherapy and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Ensure the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
Requirements
  • Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one year supervised post-masters experience; OR master's degree in social work with two years post-Master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting.
  • Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed master's in social work.
  • LMSW with at least 2 years of outpatient experience preferred.
  • Past experience with collaborative or integrated behavioral health care preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
