Job Title: Database Developer/Analyst

Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Database Developer/Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our corporate database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop database solutions to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with software engineers to create and update database tables, procedures, and triggers
  • Use SQL to query database tables and troubleshoot data issues
  • Use Python to facilitate data transmission between databases and applications
  • Evaluate current database design and structures, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvements
Requirements:
  • Oracle database experience creating/updating tables and packages required
  • SQL experience required
  • Python experience required
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA) required
  • Data analysis and troubleshooting experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with visualization tools such as Qlik or Tableau desired
  • Experience providing support to a NAVAIR IT organization/environment desired
Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start.

Education:

BS/BA degree and 3 months related experience OR AA/AS degree and 2 years related experience OR HS and 4 years related experience.
