Job Overview

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, as well as a 401k plan, paid time off, and an annual bonus.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will represent International SOS and provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans, monitoring and documenting patients' vital signs and progress, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-operative care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • At least 3 years' experience, with 6 months RN experience within the past year, preferably in an austere environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Experience working on a military site as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
