Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. This is a full-time position working weekends (Friday-Sunday) from 7:30pm - 8:00am.

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment. You will also be required to maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
  2. Position patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  3. Administer contrast media and start IVs as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification.
  2. Registered – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) (CT) required.
  3. Minimum of two (2) years experience in hospital setting preferred.
  4. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Occasional heavy lifting (lift/carry up to 50 lbs.).
  2. Frequent/prolonged standing/walking.
  3. Lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients.
  4. Pushes, pulls, or moves heavy equipment.
  5. Manual dexterity and mobility.
