Grimaldi's Pizzeria is seeking a Host/Hostess to create an extraordinary experience for our guests. As the first and last impression of our dining experience, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the dining room, ensuring the organization and ebb and flow of both the service and the kitchen. Your duties will include greeting customers, seating them at the appropriate table, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant lobby area, monitoring the wait list, and assisting guests with wait times. You will also be responsible for monitoring table turnover and communicating with servers to ensure efficient seating and service. Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a restaurant environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for a long period of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • A valid food handlers card.
