Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland.

The Resident Care Aide will provide exceptional care and support to our memory impaired residents, ensuring their dignity and independence are maintained at all times.

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while promoting their independence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents' rights and maintain accurate records of care.
• Report any changes in resident condition to the supervisor, including evidence of illness, changes in behavior, or personal care needs not being met.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year working in a care-giving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.
