Woodlands Senior Living is a collaborative network of ten establishments dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for over 700 elderly individuals, ensuring they can age with dignity, joy, and comfort, supported by empathetic caregivers.

Among these establishments, eight have proudly achieved Joint Commission accreditation, with two more on the path to receiving Gold Seal of Approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments through observation, interviews, and examinations, creating tailored care plans to address individual health conditions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for optimal resident outcomes.
  • Administer direct treatment and manage health conditions, utilizing prescriptive authority and making referrals to other healthcare professionals and community resources as necessary. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Provide education and counseling to residents and their families regarding preventive health measures, treatment alternatives, and available community resources.
  • Deliver care that respects age and cultural considerations, promoting informed choices and shared decision-making.
Compensation
Starting salary at $125,000, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Maine, with a solid understanding of nursing and medical standards.
  • Be eligible for independent practice as per the guidelines of the Maine Department of Professional and Financial Regulation Board of Nursing.
  • A valid driver's license in Maine and a satisfactory driving record may be required.
  • Completion of a criminal history background check to the satisfaction of the organization is necessary.
