We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lead Martial Arts Educator at Impact Dojo, a dynamic organization dedicated to empowering children and adults through the art of martial arts. About the Role:

  • As a Lead Martial Arts Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality martial arts instruction to students aged 4-18, with varying skill levels.
  • You will create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring a fun and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Your role will also involve supervising students during activities, providing constructive feedback, and promoting positive relationships between students and staff.
  • In addition, you will contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment by adhering to Impact Dojo's Code of Conduct and safety protocols.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in various settings (academic/athletic tutoring, camp counseling, youth volunteer work).
  • Martial arts teaching experience (1-5 years) with a strong focus on karate or compatible disciplines.
  • Teaching certification (preferred but not required) and a Bachelor's degree (also preferred but not mandatory).

  • Able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000-$65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
