About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Home Market Foods. As a key member of our facilities department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Equipment Verification: Verify and document the proper operation of various equipment to ensure compliance with cGMP/GMP standards.
  • Liaison with Vendors: Act as a liaison with vendors for scheduled services and provide technical assistance on facilities maintenance.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Support preventive maintenance programs to keep our building systems in top-notch condition.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, or bring three years of facilities specialist experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Obtain or already hold a 2nd class firemen's license within 6 months.
  • Communication Skills: Showcase excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
