The Night Auditor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and financial systems during the overnight shift. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks.
Responsibilities- Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Financial Management: Balance transactions, prepare daily reports, and conduct security walks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial systems.
- Communication: Maintain radio contact with other associates during the shift, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems as necessary, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Training and Development: Train new Night Auditors as requested by management, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of operations.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
- Skills: Knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a friendly and professional demeanor.
