Job Title: Corporate Counsel, Legal

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our team at Ipsos. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in addressing a wide range of contractual matters for our U.S. and Canadian clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate client and vendor contracts, RFPs, NDAs, DPAs, consulting agreements, and other commercial agreements.
  • Legal Support: Work closely with client service teams to resolve legal issues related to commercial relationships between Ipsos and its clients.
  • Data Privacy and Security: Provide advice and support to business teams on all matters relating to data privacy and security, including personal data of users, consumers, employees, and third-parties.
  • Standard Forms and Processes: Create and improve our standard forms, processes, and policies.
  • Training and Development: Lead trainings of internal business teams on contractual terms, compliance with relevant corporate policies, applicable laws, and industry codes of conduct.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Group legal department on Americas-wide and global projects.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and J.D. degree from accredited institutions required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3+ years' experience working on commercial contracts in a law firm or mix of law firm and in-house roles.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to work effectively with management teams and outside legal, financial, and commercial advisors.
