Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Inspector to join our team in the Riverside, CA area. This role will focus on all aspects of required field and office construction work, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily inspections and complete documentation, including daily reports, to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with clients, owners, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor construction for compliance with project documents, including material tags and certificates of compliance.
  • Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures.
  • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with Caltrans Standards.
  • Communicate with project team members and provide recommendations to ensure project success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' resident engineer experience on Electrical construction projects is desired.
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California.
  • Ability to work independently, make effective decisions concerning construction work in progress, and solve field problems.
  • A thorough understanding of Cal-OSHA practices and procedures.
  • A thorough understanding of American with Disability Act (ADA) and Caltrans ADA requirements.
  • A thorough understanding of field methods, practices, and construction office procedures.

Compensation

In accordance with local law, the salary range for this position is $[salary range] per year, contingent on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
