Car Electronics Specialist

As a Car Electronics Installer at Best Buy, you will be responsible for installing new technology into customers' vehicles. You will follow established procedures for recommending, troubleshooting, and installing mobile electronics specific to each vehicle. You will also share automotive technology advice, best practices, and recommendations with clients and other employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install standard mobile electronic solutions, including T-harness remote starts, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers, and in-dash units.
  • Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation.
  • Use provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Acquire and maintain required certifications.

Requirements:

  • Current, valid driver's license.
  • Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy's safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience installing car electronics.
  • Prior retail experience.
