Key Responsibilities:
- Establish functional, performance, and low-power specifications for MAC features and algorithms (e.g., bgn, ax, be).
- Architect, develop, and validate design specifications, including hardware/software partitioning, data flow, and message sequence diagrams.
- Create cross-layer system models utilizing tools like NS3 to verify the architecture.
- Lead design reviews with cross-functional teams to secure consensus for subsequent implementation and testing phases.
- Conduct post-silicon validation to ensure that the implementation aligns with design objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- In-depth expertise in Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth standards.
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, LwIP implementation, and integration with Wi-Fi MAC, including performance optimization based on application/customer needs.
- Proven experience in MAC algorithm implementation, contributing to product enhancements, and analyzing field test outcomes.
- Practical experience with MAC simulation tools such as NS3.
- Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and C/C++ is essential.
- Familiarity with PHY simulation is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Git.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and foster collaboration among PHY, Systems, and Software teams.
Education & Experience:
- BSEE with over 15 years of experience.
- MSEE with over 10 years of experience.
