Job Title

Home Stager

We are seeking a skilled Home Stager to join our team at My Nest Is The Best, a growing home staging and interior design business in Frederick, Maryland.

This is a part-time position with an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Home Stager, you will be responsible for selecting furniture, art, and accessories for staging properties, working with the staging team to install and style furniture, art, and decor at properties, packing up installed items at properties for destaging, organizing the warehouse, and assisting with loading/unloading the truck for jobs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in home staging, retail/visual merchandising, or interior design-related fields, possess creativity and an understanding of basic design/aesthetic principles, be highly organized and able to maintain an orderly work environment, have a professional and positive attitude, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted and higher weight with assistance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Selecting a cohesive staging/design plan including selecting the appropriate color palette, furniture, art, and accessory vignettes that best highlight the space while maintaining company brand standards
  • Inputting/updating selections in the company's inventory management system
  • Assisting with pulling, packing, and loading all selections for transport
  • Communicating the design plan to the staging team at the time of installation
  • Assisting with the installation of all staging items at the property including laying out rugs, assembling furniture, hanging art, making/steaming beds
  • Assisting with destaging properties including unassembling furniture, packing art/decor, loading the truck, and unpacking/storing items back at the warehouse
  • Documenting any damages or broken items on appropriate forms
  • Assisting with furniture repairs and cleaning
  • Assisting with warehouse cleaning and organization
  • Assisting with taking photos, videos, and content for the company's social media
