Job Description

At U.S. Bank, we're on a mission to deliver exceptional service and drive business growth. As a Lockbox Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our lockbox services, meeting stringent deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Coordinate Operational Activities: Oversee the operational activities for assigned functional areas/regions, ensuring quality service and effective operations support for internal and external customers.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Manage a team of professionals, ranging from non-exempt to exempt level, to achieve results through effective leadership and management.
  • Administer Corporate Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and recommend operational systems and procedures, coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Typically three to five years of relevant experience in operations management or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
  • Lean 6 Sigma: Knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma principles and methodologies.
  • Excel: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Operational Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies, and procedures for the assigned area.
  • Lockbox Workflow: Strong understanding of lockbox workflow and processes.
  • Organizational and Project Management Skills: Strong organizational, managerial, and project management skills.
  • Customer Relations: Well-developed customer relations skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
