Job Title: Industrial Seamstress

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Seamstress to join our team at Sheffield Furniture & Interiors. As an Industrial Seamstress, you will be responsible for creating custom window treatments, draperies, and soft goods for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform drapery construction and alterations according to client specifications
  • Create cushions and bedding according to client specifications
  • Operate sewing machines and other tools to fabricate custom window treatments
  • Measure and cut fabric to ensure accurate sizing and fit
  • Create templates and patterns for custom projects
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sewing experience (preferably with draperies, shades, and bedding)
  • Proficient in sewing construction techniques
  • Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties
  • Experience operating sewing machines and other related tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
