About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Systems Engineer, Senior to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying advanced technologies, scientific principles, and theories to develop revolutionary system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Develop system models and system performance simulations to support system design trade studies and system specifications.
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Support meetings as well as collect various metric and status for compilation into status charts.
  • Providing assistance in test plan execution and test procedures writing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical and computer engineering or related STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years engineering experience.
  • Experience with radar systems, signal processing, requirements development, MATLAB modeling and programming, systems engineering processes and product life cycle experience.
  • Experience mentoring software engineers in a team setting.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree in computer science or electrical and computer engineering.
  • Experience with model based system engineering: DOORS, Rhapsody, requirements specifications.
  • Experience developing and analyzing radar signal processing algorithms and performance.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Crucible, Confluence).
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.
  • Experience with Development and Operations (DevOps) technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with subordinates, peers, senior team members and the customer at both programmatic and technical levels.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Electronic Attack (EA)/ Electronic Protection (EP) principles and techniques.
