Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Lead Transportation Specialist to join our team at the Maquoketa Community School District.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of the Director of Transportation to ensure the safe transportation of students.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to guarantee the buses are in good working condition.
  • Able to take direction from supervisors and lead by example.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Class B CDL with a school bus passenger endorsement.
  • Air brake endorsement preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
