Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team at Moncks Corner Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, triaging patients, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Triage and assess patients of all ages presenting for emergency care
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians
  • Document patient information and treatment plans
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls and refer patients to appropriate care zones
  • Coordinate and triage incoming ambulance traffic
  • Manage care with primary ED attending
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
  • Previous emergency, pre-hospital, or critical care Registered Nurse experience preferred
