Job Overview

As a Senior Civil Engineer at CDG Engineers, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects. Your expertise in bridge and/or road design and experience working with state DOTs will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet regulatory standards and exceed client expectations.

This role has the potential to become hybrid in our Sheridan, WY office after completion of an initial training period. This role may support our other office locations remotely at times as well - St. Louis, MO (HQ) or Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roadways, and bridge site developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
  • Senior (10+ years of experience) roles available depending on level of relevant State Department of Transportation (DOT) experience.
  • Microsoft Office productivity software.
  • Civil3D proficiency a must.
  • Must be able to comply with all client and industry safety requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify technical issues.

Preferred Requirements:

  • PE license
  • Microstation, Bentley, GeoPak InRoads or OpenRoads (ORD) experience
  • Hydraulics Analysis
