About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the operating room, ensuring the smooth and efficient function of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, adhering to strict sterile techniques.
  • Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our team to maintain a fast-paced and efficient environment, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification, or ability to obtain within one year of graduation.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting.
  • Preferred experience in Labor and Delivery/OB/GYN, with a strong understanding of sterile techniques.
