About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncology Nurse Coordinator to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert nursing care to patients with complex treatment options, ensuring seamless coordination and facilitation of their care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage patient calls and lab results, coordinating studies and specialty referrals
  • Notify providers of upcoming orders and provide initial and ongoing patient education
  • Direct the coordination of care across disciplines and the care continuum
  • Communicate with patients on behalf of providers and coordinate changes to treatment plans
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of recent RN clinical employment experience
  • Minimum one year of oncology experience
  • Experience in an ambulatory clinic and prior radiation oncology experience
  • Bachelor's of Science degree and knowledge of malignant hematology and immunosuppressive therapy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of oncology experience
  • MS in Nursing with a focus in adult nursing practice or leadership
  • OCN certification
