About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at MGM Resorts International. As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth execution of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and assist with seating at tables
  • Knowledgeable of service requirements for assigned functions, including pre-function side work, menu selections, and presentation standards
  • Set up, monitor, refresh, and breakdown coffee break, reception, and buffet tables according to group requirements
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
Requirements
  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
  • Able to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
  • Able to function in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • At least 6 months of prior experience reading event orders and executing event set-ups
