About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at MGM Resorts International. As a Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth execution of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with a warm smile and assist them with seating at tables
  • Knowledgeable of service requirements for assigned functions, including pre-function side work, menu selections, and presentation standards
  • Set up, monitor, refresh, and breakdown coffee break, reception, and buffet tables according to group requirements
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
Requirements
  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills
  • Able to multi-task several activities and duties simultaneously
  • Able to function and act independently
  • Able to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • Able to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines
