Regional HR Specialist for Our Eastern Tennessee Division

Overnight Travel May Be Necessary - Tennessee Residency Required

Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center is a prominent provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services across various states.

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and seasoned Regional HR Specialist to assist approximately 10 of our skilled nursing facilities located in Tennessee, Kentucky, and South Carolina.

Summary:

Provides administrative support to the facilities' Human Resource and Recruitment-related needs.

Qualifications:

Experience:
  • 2 years of experience in HR and Payroll preferred in a nursing home setting.
  • Multi-site nursing home experience is required.
Essential Functions:
  • Management of Workers Compensation & Unemployment.
  • Train and mentor payroll benefits coordinators in assigned facilities.
  • Assist with the creation, modification, and review of policies and procedures.
  • Administration of FMLA.
  • Participate in QCRs and Regional QAPI.
  • Audit HR files to ensure compliance.
  • Management of Handbooks.
  • Attend employee meetings/training sessions, open enrollments as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support for all facilities in all aspects of Human Resources.
  • Review facility disciplinary actions and provide recommendations.
  • Assist with recruitment and retention in assigned facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Understanding of human resource practices and techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and employees.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and conciseness.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee information.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
