Our client, a leader in their field and expanding Forsyth, Georgia area, is seeking an experienced, seasoned Payroll Specialist to handle their 500 employee payroll across 27 locations. This Payroll Specialist position is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the payroll cycle, including wage attachments, taxes, etc. and will also be responsible for certain aspects of the benefits as well. In the beginning, this will be an onsite position, however there is opportunity for this to be a hybrid position once the person is fully acclimated to the role. The qualified applicant will possess the following skill set:

  • 3-7 years of experience in payroll
  • Apply documented rules, past practices, or instructions on an independent level
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Demonstrated ability to hold information confidential with excellent judgment
  • Solid understanding of payroll operations, payroll tax, associated principles and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize deliverables, multi-task, and work under pressure in a dynamic work environment
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced analytical skillset, including the use of Excel and/or other tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • This company utilizes Paylocity platform and familiarity will be a big plus
  • College or Technical School Degree highly desirable.


Pay is earmarked in the $20 to $25/hr range, however consideration may be given based on qualifications and previous salary history.
