Job Overview

KP LLC is a leading provider of printing and mailing services, and we're seeking a skilled Folder Machine Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, maintain, and operate multiple machines to ensure efficient production.
  • Monitor machine performance and detect malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Train and guide Machine Associates as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Interpret job tickets and SOPs accurately to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records to ensure compliance.
  • Select samples and proofs for customer review as requested.
  • Sort and prepare output for the next step in the process.
  • Understand and follow safety and quality requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Recommend and develop SOPs for job-related functions, process improvement, and efficiency enhancements.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience working with bindery, mail, and/or finishing machines.
  • Strong knowledge of basic color and print principles.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to read, understand, and follow SOPs.
  • Good mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
  • Self-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize work activities efficiently.
  • Ability to identify problems and notify management in a timely manner with possible solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset to support all employees in their work.
  • Effective communication skills to work with others.
  • Positive attitude to respond to instructions and procedures.
