Make a Difference in the Lives of Inmates

As a Licensed Mental Health Professional at Wellpath, you'll play a vital role in providing essential mental health services to individuals within correctional facilities. Your expertise will directly impact the well-being and rehabilitation of those under your care.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive screenings, assessments, and triages for inmates referred to your services.
  • Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans, deliver essential mental health services, and provide crisis interventions when needed.
  • Respond promptly to sick call requests, oversee the clinical needs of inmates, and actively participate in team meetings to ensure coordinated care.
  • Contribute to staff training programs, meticulously document all findings, and uphold strict adherence to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • One year or more of experience providing mental health treatment, preferably within a correctional or hospital setting.
  • Current and active license to practice as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or Psychologist in the state where you will be working. You must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and educational requirements.
